A year ago, May 2006, we had the expedition of a lifetime - a 21 day private trip rowing the Colorado River! 226 miles of pure heaven.
| I'm an active member of two whitewater clubs, WRRR (Washington Recreational River Runners) and OWA (Oregon Whitewater Association). There's a profound beauty to running rivers that can be very close to a Zen like experience. The rest of the world ceases to exist and all that is real is the moment. It works for me. There are many wonderous and magical locations that are accessible only by boat. You'll find some photographs of places like that here. Most of the photographs on this site are digital and were taken with a variety of cameras by many of the expedition members: Joan Ota, Eric & Tina Myren, Tom Wilk, Dan Ford, Amy Skelton, Bill Yager and myself. Here's a link to my personal handcoded website I'm working on: www.whytH2O.com. |
