My dog is very special to my boyfriend and me. When we first saw Jetta, we immediately looked at each other. We said, "we want this one." Much to our dismay the volunteer turned to us and told us, "oh, she's not available, yet." We got angry so she told us that we can put her on a hold. We went downstairs and told the other volunteer that we wanted to put the rat terrier on the first floor on an adoption hold. When she looked her up on the computer she made us the happiest pet parents. She told us that Jetta was available and that all that was needed was to let a behaviorist put Jetta and us together to see if we got alone. Lo & behold, that's how we became the PROUD parents of little JETTA!!!
APPEARANCE
Jetta is white with black spotting. Ear carriage is erected, which contribute to her intelligent and alert expression.Her tail is docked to 3 - 4 inches. She's about 14 pounds and stands 14 inches at the shoulders with a refined head and short single coat. She's a TYPE - A Rat Terrier.
TEMPERAMENT
Jetta loves just lounging around. She's very cheerful. She's sensitive to noises and activities in the environment. She enjoys running around, jumping up and standing up on her hind legs. She's a great dog for exercise. She has lots of energy and so we take her to a dog run park eveyday, which she adores.
