New products, tools and innovative processes have made fused glass a popular and more affordable pursuit for hobbyist. In this introductory workshop, participants will create three fused glass projects using several techniques, with a variety of glass types. We will discuss many methods of combining and firing glass to acheive different results. Students will gain an understanding of the fusing process, tools and materials, glass compatibility and kiln operation. Emphasis is placed on learning techniques and skills. In class you will create a 6X12 sample of mostly clear, textures glasses with stained glass and/or glass gem accents on clear or mirrored glass, and you'll take home grout and grouting instructions. Description	My name is Rebecca. I'm the new Art Director for Fuel Coffee. <br><br>Our Wallingford location is participating in the Wallingford Art Walk, the first Friday of every month starting May 7. We'd like to diversify the Art Walk by featuring short films in our coffeeshop. (There is a nice space in the back where we can hang a screen.) <br><br>Do you have a movie you'd like to share with the public? Please let me know! I'm especially looking for narratives, art films, and music videos as opposed to documentaries, but no matter the genre, if you believe your film could fit a public art walk event, I want to hear about it!
