Background check?

Does anyone know the stringency of the background check requirements?
I may have a charge for possession of marijuana on my record as well as a charge for simple assault which was dropped. I am concerned about htis before starting the application process. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Yes...you have to put down everything. On the application, it will ask you if you have ever been charged (not just convicted). That won't automatically disqualify you so don't panic...plus, you don't want to risk hiding anything because of the FBI background check...which will pull up everything. I've had something similiar happen to me and it didn't keep me from being nominated, although my recruiter warned me that I'll be asked about it later on... Do you find this valuable?
