tips to know for medical clerance

Just some tips for helping to get through medical clearance:If you are still a uni student, try going to the student clinic, its usually cheaper and faster. Go with your checklist and sit down with a nurse first to let her know everything that needs to be signed and all of the labs that need to be done. Make an appointment after that to actually have it all done. When you are doing the exam, remind them of everything, and before you leave the exam room, go back through the checklist and physical form. That way you dont have to keep coming back. I know it's redundant to keep checking, but trust me, you wont remember everything they need to do unless you are looking at the paperwork while they do it. Always get copies of everything, the labs, reciepts, results, and your PC forms. At the dental clinic, do the same thing and remember you need a copy of panorex AND bitewings (I forgot bitewings and I had to go back). Know ahead of time that impacted wisdom teeth need to come out for dental clearance. PC wont pay for it either. So dont wait for PC to tell you this, it will only extend your waiting time for dental clearance and placement. Do it now. Remember that Pc will check everything, leave nothing unchecked and nothing unsigned. 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |
